About this speaker
Calum combines C-level operational, sales and leadership experience with training and accreditation as a coach to help his clients develop insight into their challenges and how to address them. He challenges them to question their assumptions and to explore the underlying purpose and values that drive their actions, to help define what represents success for them and how the coaching sessions could help them achieve this.
Calum started in engineering, but moved into sales, commercial, operations and product marketing roles before taking on executive positions. He has worked for start-ups, multinational companies and PE owned companies – with direct and matrixed teams across the globe. At Nortel he ran the EMEA services business and global sales operations and managed the sale of the GSM wireless business. At Aircom International he was the Chief Operating Officer and UK MD. He has been on the board of a German SAAS business and a JV in Israel, as well as being a director of Nortel Hungary and various Aircom entities, giving him a good perspective into cultural differences and leadership styles in different countries.
Calum left his corporate career in 2014 to start Schiltron Associates – which provides executive coaching and team facilitation. He has completed a Professional Certificate and an MSc in Coaching and Behaviour change at Henley Business School and is accredited as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the ICF. His coaching clients include start-ups, government departments and large companies, including Babcock International, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Intellectual Property Office, Coca Cola, Microsoft, PWC, BUPA, TES, Thomson-Reuters, International Red Cross, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity Investments, Vodafone, UBS, HSBC, Marks & Spencer, Starbucks and Spotify.
